Protest against La Malfa at a Chico gas station
La Malfa was there supporting the petition to repeal the newly enacted 12-cent gas tax. The resisters were there fighting for infrastructure improvements, women's issues, healthcare and against corporate welfare, epitomized by La Malfa's huge govt subsidies. We're hoping to "grab him by the midterms"! Many women protesting and a woman had a good chance to de-Doug this congressional seat!
