  • Thanks to Steve Ammann (see  http://www.pbase.com/image/96389456), who gave us detailed directions, we found the nest. BUT, only one of the 3 fledglings remained, the other two having flown away the previous day. We hope they're ok! But this one, just sat out on a limb all morning.

    Well, as I have yet to get ONE decent owl shot, you're 2 up on me, Joan...Good takes in low-light and shadows. Can you imagine our FZs getting that? And the Owl-in-flight is a good capture, too. Where are the owls down here? (Said rhetorically :o) )
