2023 Northern Pygmy Owl

An amazing 2-month experience, from mating to fledging. We are blessed. Photos in reverse chronological order:

After an hour and a half of searching, finally Suji heard them!
What happens after they fledge
4 chicks still... WOW! They pretty much fly out of there ready to fly, climb and eat like crazy. If it weren't for the non-spotted heads and the shorter tail, one might mistake an owlet for the parent. We hope to be able to find them again tomorrow.
