Fledgling Bald Eagles along the Sacramento River

It's not often we get a chance to follow our Bald Eaglets once they leave the nest. But luckily John and I can kayak to the area where they hang out now, waiting for Mom and Dad to bring food. They fly low over the river, sit on logs or the shore, and generally stick close together. On July 10 and 11 2022, we spent time with them, watched one incoming meal, and saw them side by side. The have a pretty good life so far . . .
